Stay safe while having fun!
- Instruct the child about the dangers in the kitchen, especially the stove.
- Repeatedly remind the child about the many dangers.
- Never allow the child to use sharp utensils.
- Don't place items that could catch on fire near the stove (pizza boxes, towels, etc.)
- Do not keep anything that may attract the child near the stove.
- Don't wear loose fitting clothing while cooking.
- NEVER, EVER walk away and leave the child unsupervised, even for a minute!
- Watch out for steam.
- Remove tablecloths and placemats
- Cover outlets with protectors
