- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. milk
FOR CINNAMON-SUGAR TOPPING: MIX 1/4 C. SUGAR AND 2 TSP. CINNAMON IN SMALL BOWL
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly spray a loaf pan with coating.
Place margarine and sugar in large bowl and beat until creamy.
Add eggs, vanilla, sour cream, and milk and beat until well blended.
In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Slowly add dry ingredietns to the creamed mixture and beat again.
Divide the cinnamon-sugar topping mixture into two equal parts.
Spoon half the batter into the loaf pan.
Sprinkle one part of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter in pan.
Spoon the remaining batter over the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
With a butter knife, cut through the batter and cinnamon to form swirls. (Older children love doing this part!)
Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar over the top of the loaf.
Place on center rack in over and bake for 45 minutes or until well done.
